The same concerns that we have when we use the internet are the same concerns that you have: will my information be protected? Will I end up getting even more spam junk email if I leave my email address? Well, our answers to those questions are a resounding YES and NO, respectively. We hate telemarketers and spammers just like the majority of the free world, and we make every effort to keep them unemployed.

Quite simply, UrbanSkateLinks.com WILL NOT share, sell, rent, barter, swap, or in any other way provide your information to any third party company other than those used to help process your orders (e.g. shipping companies, credit card processors, etc.); not even if they threaten to post pictures of certain individuals falling flat on their faces at the 2005 Charlotte party. In general terms, we collect information so we can process your orders, ship your products, send you skate-related information, and improve our website and service offerings. In legal terms, we handle your Personal Information* as follows:

• We may collect information (such as your name, shipping and billing address, credit card number, email address, etc.) that we need in order to:
  - process and ship your orders
  - provide you with customer support
  - send you skate-related information (from which you may opt out at any time)
  - post your organization's website and/or skate event online.
• We will only ask for the information we need in order to process and ship your order, send you skate-related information, or process any other request you submit to us.
• At this time UrbanSkateLinks.com does not utilize cookies within our website. However, many of the skate club websites that you visit from within UrbanSkateLinks.com do make use of cookies. Each site will (or should) have it's own posted policy on how cookies are used on their site. You will need to read the associated website's Privacy Policy in order to find out their usage practices. UrbanSkateLinks.com cannot control how other linked websites operate or what content they post and shall not be held accountable for their actions, practices, or content.
• UrbanSkateLinks.com may share information collected by us with third parties only to help process and ship your order. That's it. No one else.
• UrbanSkateLinks.com absolutely DOES NOT store ANY credit card information on our servers. All credit card information is collected and immediately passed over to our credit card processing service using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) communications which encrypts your information as it travels over the internet. The credit card processor will store your credit card information for payment, refund, and/or dispute purposes. Your information is securely stored on their servers using the highest industry and government standards for safety and encryption. The credit card processing service DOES NOT share your credit card information with UrbanSkateLinks.com. All references to credit card numbers between UrbanSkateLinks.com and our credit card processing service are done using only the last four (4) digits of the card number and the owner's name.
• UrbanSkateLinks.com will maintain information on previous transactions with us. This information will be used to provide you with top notch Customer Service, feedback on your transactions, and/or a customer history listing. The information we maintain WILL NOT contain any credit card information. Billing and shipping information will be maintained, but no card numbers, expiration date, or CVV codes.
• UrbanSkateLinks.com may reveal your personal information (no credit card info) only to those employees who we believe reasonably need to come in contact with such information in order to provide you customer service or process your order.
• UrbanSkateLinks.com WILL NOT share, rent, lease, sell, barter, or swap your personal information (e.g. your email address, your credit card information, your name, your address, etc.) to ANY third party for their independent use or benefit. Never. Ever. Eva, eva.
• Email addresses that are used in our skate-related Email Marketing Service are NEVER shared with the vendor. Although an email may appear to come from a particular skate vendor, event host, or other party, if it came from UrbanSkateLinks.com it was sent WITHOUT the vendor knowing your email address. Any email that comes from UrbanSkateLinks.com will clearly have our name and website somewhere in the message (usually at the bottom).
• Email addresses and cell phone numbers that are submitted in order to receive updates on a particular skate event are permanently removed from our system the day after the event has ended.
• UrbanSkateLinks.com does not employ the use of "pixel tags" to track whether or not you've read one of our emails. What's a "pixel tag"? A "pixel tag" is a very small graphic, non visible, image file that is embedded in HTML based email messages. When an email with a "pixel tag" is opened using an email client that can read HTML code, the recipient's computer (that's you) will access some unknown server to retrieve the pixel tag file. This allows the sender, or some third party they are working with, to record and store not only your email address but the date and time you read the email. This is a tactic used often by spammers and we will have no part of it.
• UrbanSkateLinks.com will, at various times, record information on our server logs from your browser. This may include (but is not limited to) your IP Address, the page or item you clicked on, and the service you requested. No Personal Information will be recorded.
